SYMBOLS OF AUSTRALIA ARCHIVES/PHOTO-LIBRARY
With the publication of Symbols of Australia(SoA) in 1980, I begun to receive requests from picture researchers, publishers, ad agencies, manufacturers and museums to use material published in SoA. In the 30 plus years since I started the research in Australian commercial iconography I have accumulated an eclectic collection of images which I have regularly made available to other researchers. I have a number of clients who use this personalised service regularly. In the near future I will develop and expand this resource so that it can be searched online but until such time you can email me with your search request and I will let you know what I have available and the likely costs involved in getting you digital files appropriate for your usage. And if I don’t have what you are looking for I may be able to redirect you to someone who has. I am always happy to share and exchange information.
You can browse the Image Library Gallery to get a very general idea of some of the material from the SoA Archives. But there is lots more in my files so if you don’t see it here don’t despair– just yet: email me.
